A local man caught a 350 pound halibut Sunday in Cook Inlet out of Homer. He is now leading the Homer Halibut Derby. Second place is currently held by a woman with a 277 pound halibut. A lot of big fish this year. Don’t forget to buy your derby ticket before your next halibut charter.
